Meagan Good and Devon Franklin have literally jumped the broom. The newly weds dated for a year before officially tying the knot, and in that time, Meagan Good made it known that they agreed to not have sex until they were married.
Good starred in the film “Jumping The Broom”, which was produced by Franklin. Franklin is VP of Production at Columbia/Sony Pictures and a Seventh-day Adventist minister. He is also the author of a book titled “Produced By Faith”. He informed People Magazine that Good really changes his life, stating, “I’ve never had more peace, fun, and joy than I’ve had with her.” Good also spoke about how much Franklin meant to her, saying, “DeVon makes me better, makes my life fuller, and completes my quality of life. He’s truly on my team and I am truly on his. God revealed my heart to him like nobody else.”
Guest at the wedding included Shanice Wilson and Jeffrey Lewis of the Craig Lewis Band, both of which performed at the wedding as well.
Good and Franklin were recently spotted at the wedding of Bad Girls Club star Natalie Nunn, and now have officially merged into one themselves. We wish them the best, and look forward to seeing them set a Godly example of marriage.
If you have not, be sure to catch Franklin’s exclusive interview with Oprah on OWN. He was her guest for Soul Sunday on June 17th. It’s an interview that you don’t want to miss!
